Fourteen students of Greenfield University, Kaduna, who were abducted from their campus’ hostels on April 20th 2021, have been released.

The students, who were released on Saturday after 40 days with their captors were said to have paid an undisclosed amount of money as ransom.

The Public Relations Officer of Greenfield University, Kator Yengeh, confirmed the development but said details would be made available to journalists by the school management later.

Some of their school mates had been killed by the bandits during the course of their captivity.
