The Government of Coker/Aguda Local Council Development Area (LCDA) led by Omobolanle Akinyemi-Obe has commenced the clearing of drainages of streets within the Area.
The clearing of the drains began on Thursday as men from the works department led by the Head of Department (HOD) has resumed in Sanya Ward and surrounding areas.
Other areas affected are Oladimeji to Ojuolape; also Wole Madariola to Enitan streets will be be done today by Team One. While Irone Avenue to Onitiri to Marayesa to Canal streets will follow.
On Friday Atara community will be cleared with Jinadu Aiyetoro ward by Team Two.
A statement by the council says “Other communities and wards will be announced accordingly.
“The government of Coker/Aguda LCDA is committed to the developmental agenda of the three communities that made up the LCDA.”
Council advised residents to contact their “CDA chairmen and Ward Chairmen for issues that affects” their street and community.
