Atiku Meets CAN For Consultation

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has met with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Tuesday.

He was accompanied to the Abuja meeting by his running mate and governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa.

The former vice president shared photos of the meeting on his Twitter page.

“To RECOVER Nigeria, we need to consult widely with all the critical stakeholders in our country. I am at the Ecumenical Centre in Abuja for my interactive session with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). It promises to be a robust and fulfilling conversation,” he tweeted.

The meeting is coming days after his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival Bola Tinubu also met with the leadership of the association.
