Justice Oyebola Ojo on Tuesday declared that the owner of Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Dr Rahman Adedoyin, is guilty of murdering Timothy Adegoke, who was a postgraduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University.
For this reason, the Ile-Ife prince is to die by hanging.
Adegoke was killed in Adedoyin’s hotel in 2021 when he travelled from Abuja where he was based to write his MBA exams in Ife.
Justice Ojo who is the chief judge of the state in her ongoing judgement said the owner of the hotel and two of his workers, based on the circumstances of the case established by the prosecuting counsel, Femi Falana (SAN) were found culpable of conspiracy to commit murder, and unlawful killing of the deceased.
