President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday swore in members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) with a charge to ensure that primordial and sectional interest do not hamper their performance in office.
One of the major highlights of the announcement is the appointment of a substantive minister for the Ministry of Power. Former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola, who hitherto was the Minister of Power, Works and Housing is now in charge of Works and Housing.
There is also now a Minister in charge of Humanitarian Affairs.
