FLASH: Osinbajo Waives Immunity As He Ready’s To Sue Atiku’s Men For Libel

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has described allegations of corruption levelled against him by Timi Frank and Katch Ononuju both of whom are allies of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as “reckless and malicious falsehoods.”

In a statement he personally signed, the Vice President noted that these falsehoods have found their ways into the mainstream media through the two men in the past few days. He added that the falsehoods were peddled in the media against him by those men whom he described as “a group of malicious individuals.”

Vice President Osinbajo noted that “The defamatory and misleading assertions invented by this clique have been making the social media rounds anonymously.

“I have today instructed the commencement of legal action against two individuals, one Timi Frank and another Katch Ononuju, who have put their names to these odious falsehoods.

“I will waive my constitutional immunity to enable the most robust adjudication of these claims of libel and malicious falsehood.”

In the last few days there have been heightened speculations in the media and allegations by these men over possible fraud perpetrated by Osinbajo.
