Christopher Babajide Omoworare, former chairman Senate Committee on Rules and Business in the 8th Assembly has been appointed as President Muhammadu Buhari’s adviser on National Assembly matters.
The new senior liaison officer for the president represented Osun East Senatorial District. But he began his political career in Lagos State where he was a member of the House of Assembly from 1999. Widely seen as a loyalist of the National Leader of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu.
He hails from Ile-Ife, Osun, State. Owoworare obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1989; he became a Barrister and Solicitor af the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1990. He practised law at Babalakin & Co. as a youth corps member in 1991 till 1998 when he became a Notary Public; and obtained Masters in Law (LL.M) from University of Lagos.
Senator Omoworare was born in 1968. He has a long legislative experience.
Multiple sources say, Senator Enang will get another role soon. “Yes he will serve in another postion, as the government settles down. He did a good job when the government had issues with the Senate,” we gathered. Some pundits however accused Enang of double speak in a number of occasions.
