Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu has promised to give N1 million to anyone who offers to give him or his organisation information on travel plans of politicians of Igbo extraction. (Tap to watch video of assault here).
He spoke during a live broadcast on Sunday. He also accused Senator Ike Ekweremmadu of embezzling monies voted for the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway.
This is coming on the heels of the attack on the former deputy president of the Senate in Germany on Saturday. An attack which has been condemned in several quarters.
IPOB has since claimed responsibility for the humiliation suffered by the senator.
Kanu, who is a fugitive from the law said, so if you are working in any Government House in Southeast and you know which city in the world the governors is going to be, inform us so that we will mobilize for him and you will be rewarded with N1m.”
In the more than 80 minutes broadcast, Kanu said the grudge of the group with the governors is that they proscribed the IPOB.
“They and not the Federal Government of Nigeria proscribed IPOB.
“They said they proscribed IPOB to douse rising tension in the region. What caused the tension, because the Milliary raided my house in Umuahia,” Kanu said.
“They also brought the Army to raid my House in Umuahia. How many times has he spoken against the killings and kidnappings happening in his own state?
“He went to celebrate New Yam Festival in Germany when his people are being killed and our women being raped. Where did they get the new Yam because there is none in Igboland since all the farmlands have been destroyed by herdmen”, he claimed.
