Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) conveying election materials have been involved in an auto accident.
Politicos learnt that one of the officers may have died.
The accident happened at the Giri Roundabout Bridge, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, off the Airport-Lokoja highway.
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) sources say, the vehicle was travelling to Lagos with the materials.
Some of the injured officers have been taken to the Gwagwalada General Hospital.
