Last week trouble broke out when some persons posing as protesters against xenophobia in South Africa broke into highbrow shops like Shoprite and made away with goods whose worth is yet to be estimated. They also damaged property in the process.
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said over 5000 persons in those businesses are currently out of work following the damage to property and goods stolen.
