Afrobeats musician, Seun Kuti, was released on Tuesday night on bail, from the detention of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Lagos State.
The 40-year-old was arrested following his assault on a police officer on 3rd mainland bridge. An incident that was captured on video.
His release was confirmed by his counsel, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika (SAN).
Olumide-Fusika said, “Yes, Ṣeun Kuti has just was released minutes ago.
“His bail conditions has been perfected since last Thursday, but the police asked for an extension to remand him in their custody until today (Tuesday), to conclude investigation.”
